In 2016, I graduated with an M.Div from the Canadian Reformed Theological Seminary in Hamilton, Ontario. During my fourth and final year my wife and I were compelled to look more closely at the claims of the Catholic Church. While appreciating the gift of faith bequeathed to us by our Reformed community, we came to discover the fullness of the Christian faith in the Catholic Church. So much of what we appreciated about the Reformed faith we’ve found in full bloom in the teachings of the one whom St. Irenaeus, in the second century, referred to as “the very great, very ancient, and universally known Church founded and organized at Rome by the two most glorious apostles, Peter and Paul”. We were received into the Catholic Church during Lent, 2017.
