With Glowing Mics

If you’re interested in what a slightly nervous CRTS student sounds like during his first national radio broadcast, then good. You can find it at the link below. No, I wasn’t interviewed by Jian Ghomeshi, but I was on “Voice of the Church,” which in the balance of things is a whole lot more relevant.

It’s a radio message I recorded for last semester’s Evangelistics class. We were each assigned a passage for which we had to write a 10 minuteish meditation, and when that passed muster we were sent to Harpert Vanderwel’s basement in Burlington where the recording was done. The point was to write a message for a broad audience that hopefully included a number of unbelievers.

My text was Matthew 6:33 – “But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well.”
